Fall turn out to be rather good

reverendjim's extensive collection of the works of The Fall I thought I should give them a proper chance at least and decided to accompany him to one of their current gigs at Croydon's Cartoon. Only one of them, mind.
To my surprise they were rather good, I'd even go so far as to say they rocked. And Mark E Smith seemed a lot more cheerful than I'd been led to expect by his public image. Now if only he could try not to mumble quite so much...
